Transition Instructions
We recommend at least a 7-day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet's digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.

life saver
By kittl on Oct 26, 2021 top250Contributor
ever since i started trying to put my cat on lower phosphorus foods, she lost interest in basically every food i offer her—including ones that are not low phosphorus and which she used to eat normally. this kitten food is a "no-no" at her geriatric life stage, but it's become the only thing she will eat consistently. it also helps her appetite so she'll sometimea nibble on other things. now if only someone would make a senior/kidney cat formula as appealing as this kitten food. she has even come to prefer the tiny kibbles.

Delicious...cat loves it!
By Greytscot on Oct 8, 2021
I got this for a newly rescued shelter cat that apparently arrived at the shelter with kittens. I fed her some of this for the first week or so (she was emaciated) then transitioned to regular cat food at the direction of my vet. She gobbled it up.

Keeping Her Healthy
By Divamom on Jul 31, 2021
I have a 13 yr old ragdoll cat whose only teeth are her tiny incisors. She has always been a very poor eater who has experienced skin breakouts from dried foods with too much omega-6. This is the only dry food that she both likes and thrives on and does not frequently regurgitate because the kibble size is too large for her. The only wet food she will eat is the gravy from Purina Tuna or Salmon broths. (I did not own her for her 1st 5 years and establish her food preferences. She was a used as a breeder.) I now worry that, since Royal Canin/Chewy cannot keep this food in stock, I am going to end up with an anorexic senior cat. I keep trying to find substitutes but she either won't eat them or I have a 13 yr old ragdoll cat whose only teeth are her tiny incisors. Great Product for all ages
By AmyM on Nov 16, 2021
I love the small size of the food. It makes the food a great product for all ages of cats, especially when you have cats that have teeth issues.

Perfect for small kittens and mom
By KDMX2 on Oct 26, 2021
This food is recommended by the vet at the shelter that I foster for. It's perfect for kittens that are just learning to eat dry food. Lots of nutrition for nursing moms too.

My kitten never hesitates to eat this. I put out a bit of it between wet food meals.

Thus stuff is great!
By Panda on Jul 5, 2021
I recently took on 4 week old kittens that still had to be bottle fed. They were not transitioning over to food well until I tried this. All 4 of them took right to it. The pieces are so small they had no trouble eating it completely dry.
